A Premiership Rugby Milestone
We’ve worked on the award-winning Project Rugby programme since it’s inception so we’re delighted to see Premiership Rugby reach the milestone of their 75th thousand participant signing up.
The programme, which aims to increase diversity and inclusivity in the game, needed to mark the occasion so of course we were on hand to ensure we maximised the moment.
Not only did we create assets including bespoke 75th thousand anniversary logo, templates for social channels and press releases on Project Rugby case studies which were rolled out to secure media coverage, we also worked with Premiership Rugby’s title sponsor Gallagher insurance, to co-ordinate and produce video content for socials. Story boards, scripts, branding and on the day management captured the numerous benefits to be gained from participating in Project Rugby and its welcoming environment where players are able to thrive no matter their ability or disability.
GTA were integral to the celebration event which on the day saw over 15 teams play in high spirits and getting involved to create a photo of 75000 on the pitch. Post pitch action included a Q&A hosted by Jill Douglas where Project Rugby participants got to hear from peers, players and programme stake holders and medals being awarded before all enjoyed a ginormous 75th cake!
