Event marketing & ticketing: strategy development and execution

Introduction

Our remit across this world class event was far reaching. Birmingham hosted the world’s best gymnasts across 8 days of competition which included the World Championships, World Age Group Competitions and the first ever Junior Worlds.

 

From content creation at every opportunity, to showcasing the impact on the local community, we focused on raising the profile of the sport and the amazing gymnasts to drive awareness and ticket sales.

 

With Nasima assuming the position as the event Media and Marketing Lead, the LOC for this event to new heights and delivered what is being called ‘the best world’s ever’!

How GTA supported

  • Established #Lightthemup creative platform taken through all channels included sports presentation.

  • Management of all in-event media operations

Nearly 10,500 tickets sold

Generated nearly £180K in ticketing revenue

29M impression on social media with over 650K engagements (2.5%)
