From inappropriate staff and member behaviour to power outages, accidents and deaths through to data breaches, and the outbreak of Covid-19, for several years Nasima provided crisis communications and issues management support for The Gym Group.

A essential business support, Nasima provided reassuring specialist communications counsel when things were far from normal, helping to protect and maintain a reputation and image of The Gym and its 150+ clubs across the UK.

  • Creation of a crisis and issues communications handling procedure, handbook and crisis comms team

  • Preperation of reactive statements in preparation for any eventuality

  • Organising media training for the Exec team

  • 24:7 on-call contact as a member of the crisis comms team

  • Strategic guidance for the Exec team on appropriate responses to situations as they arose
