Telling authentic stories in rugby

Continuing their mission to improve inclusivity and representation across the game, Premiership Rugby have renamed this weekend ‘LGBTQ+ Pride Weekend’. The purpose - to promote inclusivity and show that every player, referee, coach, club employee or supporter from the LGBTQ+ community is welcome, no matter their background.

As part of this very clear statement by Premiership Rugby, we helped them create a video which authentically shows inclusion in rugby. The video has been shared across all Premiership Rugby and their club’s digital channels, as well as on the big screens at this weekend’s games.

LGBTQ+ members of Premiership Rugby’s family including players, club and foundation staff, presenters and stewards shared their experiences in and around the game as Premiership Rugby strive to raise awareness, increase education and stamp out discrimination.

The face of rugby, and indeed all sports, is wide and diverse, all deserve to be recognised and respected.
